Research
projects for M.S. and Ph.D. students cover a variety of topics and require
a variety of skills. Most projects require students to instrument a field
site, gather hydraulic and/or geochemical data, analyze and interpret the
data, and then synthesize the data by incorporating it into a flow, transport,
or geochemical model. Many of the skills required in these projects
are acquired in classes and on field trips. In the past 13 years,
26 students have completed their M.S. and Ph.D. degrees.
