This senior/graduate-level course introduces the
fundamental concepts and principles of ground-water flow, ground-water resources
and occurrence, aquifer evaluation and contaminant transport in a quantitative
framework. Assignments are based on real-world examples. A field trip to a
buried valley aquifer with two contaminant remediation systems is taken.
