This senior/graduate-level course introduces the fundamental concepts and principles of ground-water flow, ground-water resources and occurrence, aquifer evaluation and contaminant transport in a quantitative framework. Assignments are based on real-world examples. A field trip to a buried valley aquifer with two contaminant remediation systems is taken.
