Ultra
Pure Water System
The CRS is supplied with
18-megaohm water from a Millipore Super-Q system externally installed.
The ultra pure water is piped from a 400 liter storage tank into recirculating
faucets in several locations throughout the CRS. The storage tank
also services some gravity fed faucets in CR1 and CR6. As the level
of water in the storage tank drops it is resupplied with a Milli-RO system.
Resistivity meters are also located in several readily visible places in
the CRS to monitor the purity of the recirculating water. This is
a typical sink configuration. The large gooseneck faucet delivers
18-megaohm water on demand.
