Intercom
System
In order to minimize
traffic from one clean area to another an intercom system was installed.
The intercom allows communication with any room in the entire Radiogenic
Isotopes Lab as well. This in particularly useful in the Clean Room
Suite where the use of telephones would be highly impractical. Communication
and safety in the Clean Room Suite is also enhanced by the liberal use
of windows instead of solid walls and doors.
