Laminar Flow Fume Hood
This hood is typical
in its air-handling system as the other Laminar Flow Hoods. What
sets this hood apart is the nature of the air-flow. In this hood
the laminar flow is horizontal. Another feature that makes this hood
special is the addition of two custom shelves constructed of clear plastic.
This provides us with three times the working area for the same foot print.
The three outlet controls regulate the amount of power available on each
duplex at each level of the hood. This hood is designed to work with
the doors closed. One sliding door is left open here for a better
view into the hood. Shown on the top shelf is a specially constructed
hot plate.
