Teflon
Double Bottle Sub-boiling Stills
Shown here is an array
of double bottle stills constructed entirely of Teflon. Reagent is
placed in a bottle and very gentle heat is applied with a heating tape.
Condensate is collected in the connected bottle. The connecting blocks
are milled from solid Teflon. These stills make small volumes of
ultra pure acids used in various stages and types of sample processing.
