Greetings!

Greg Forbes in Ecuador told me about your group and I would like to
subscribe. This is the first I have heard about it. I have Visilog
("Visiview 3.6.1") running on a Sun IPX which interfaces with our Cameca
SX50 electron microprobe.
The (what I consider) poor documentation that came with Visilog
(Visiview) makes attempting to use it very difficult.
One immediate need I have to to be able to do a modal analysis of an
_irregula_r area, and I see no mention in the only documentation I have
("Visilog User's Guide 3.6 release Dec 1990").
I would also be happy to learn if there is any "user friendly" document-
ation or tutorials for Visilog.
There are probably a dozen or two other Cameca microprobe users with
Visilog who I'm sure will be happy to learn about this Visilog Users BB.
Once I get more info on it, I could forward the details to them (we too
have
an on-line users group).
