The monitors' scanning is controlled by the SX50. As for the folded over

images, the problem appears to be with the monitor's power supply

(located in the backside of the monitor) to the X scanning. Check the two

regulators on the X-scanning and replace both, even if only one is shot.

Check 15V and 20V lines. Good luck.

I believe it is independent, at least the power drivers are local to



the monitor. They may be under SX control, but the problem is local. I



have the same problem, and we have been unable to fix it. We

troubleshot it at the time by "freezing" one of the high power

consuming xsistors, but replacing it helped only short term. If you

find a fix let me know.
