Dear John: Could you please put this message on the user's group network.

I have an opportunity to buy an Edwards Vacuum Coater Model E306A
Code 11-E085-91-000 for about $2500 US. This coater, although 12 years old,
has been used maybe 5 or 6 times for TEM grid work and has been essentially
mothballed since. It appears to be in like-new condition, and has an SEM
planetary option. Has anyone in the SX-50 user's group had any experience
with this model of coater, and is it easily adaptable to give good,
reproducible EPMA-quality carbon coats? I look forward to hearing from
anyone who can advise me in this regard.
