Cameca Users Group Meeting at AGU meeting
Tuesday Dec 7 at 5:30 PM the Ramada Inn San Francisco. -- on
Market, 2 blocks southeast of the Civic Center. (formerly the San
Franciscan) apparently some free munchies 5-7

Folks who we know will be at the AGU that day, who hopefully will be able
to be there, and who should look for each other:

I have just received a letter from Dr. D. Ackermand of the European
Cameca Users Group = CAMUS (Cameca Users Club).
From the letter:
"We had our last meeting in October, and more than 60 persons
(scientists and technical engineers) came. Our program is: start Wednesday
5 PM with discussion about service problems, Thursday for talks on new
software, new analytical procedures, etc, and Friday AM for training in
front of a Cameca probe. We meet every 18 months, alternating between
university and industry sites. Cameca invites us for dinner Wed and Thurs;
we pay our own accommodations."

- I will find out more information and pass it on. I hope they have a
recording secretary so we can learn some specifics!!
