Just wanted to let you know that I faxed Claude about
Quantiview (see attached note),and that I will also be at AGU and
would really like to see the SX-50 users get together.
Mike Garcia will also be at the meeting and would like to
participate in a meeting. Both of us are flexable, but Tues. or
Wed. evening look good at this point (preferably somewhere
with beer!). If you suggest a time and place for a get together,
we'll try to be there.

Dear Claude,
I am contacting you to get information about the status of
Cameca's next release of Quantiview. We have patiently been
using a bug-ridden version while continually being told that a
new version will be available very shortly. What is the latest
estimate for a release date? We are getting very frustrated with
a few of the current software bugs. Also, several of the users
at Hawaii have been waiting for the promised trace element
routines (with peak integration).
I am also concerned that the next version of Quantiview will
not have fixes for all the known bugs. est versions of the
software being used in North America SX-50 labs apparently still
have problems! I hope that Cameca's efforts will fix all known
software bugs in the very near future.
