Subject: HV-dependent beam-drift problem at A&M
From: "Ray Guillemette"

John,
It was a pleasure speaking with you this afternoon. Here's a copy of the FAX
that I sent to Cameca back in March describing the beam-drift problem that we
have experienced. The problem finally appears to have been corrected as of this
morning with the replacement of the Support Limiter assembly (Part #29268980).
This solid aluminum (alloy?) part was apparently maintaining a surface static
charge (possibly due to its being anodized?).
If you have any questions regarding the test described in the enclosed
document, drop me an e-mail message or give me a call (best number: (409)
845-6301 (Probe Lab itself))
Regards
Ray G.
