John-

Thanx for the info on Santa Cruz and the additional SX 50 Summer. Hope
installation is going well.

No, I'm not an old timer. I got my first license in 1956, so I'm just a
kid. My current license is from early '70s with upgrades where I kept my
original call. Used to talk to my father K8DYI in Detroit from UCSB before
he passesd. My brother is K8EBR Tom in the LA area. He's active in the
local emergency group. But, he is in electronics, so hamming is too much
like work.

Gotta go..
