Why did you choose Ohio State?
The geology program at Ohio State and the Byrd Polar Research Center is one of the best places in the U.S. to study Glaciology. So, this is why I came to Ohio State!

Why did you choose to work with Terry?
My interests are somewhat different from Terry's, but she is both a great teacher and mentor, so I chose her as my advisor.

What is your most memorable or favorite moment from the field?
I still don’t have any field experience directly related to my research. However, I use remote sensing imagery such as ASTER and I always imagine what it would be like to go to the field in the future. Hopefully, next summer I can go to the Cordillera Blanca of the Peruvian Andes.

What do you hope to do after graduate school?
First of all, I want to be a good mom as I am expecting my first child before graduation.
I also hope I can teach at a University or pursue research at an institution level.
